Premier League fixture changes

Three Barclays Premier League fixtures have been altered because of the Carling Cup final on Sunday 27th February.

Finalists Arsenal and Birmingham City have both postponed their league matches due to be played the previous day.

It means the eagerly-awaited north London derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal will have to be re-arranged along with the Blues' trip to Chelsea.
No New Date
No new date has yet been announced for either fixture. Arsenal will be bidding to avenge their home defeat in November when Spurs came from two down at half-time to win 3-2 at Emirates Stadium while Birmingham pulled off a 1-0 victory over the champions at St Andrew's.
In addition, Birmingham's trip to Everton - scheduled for Wednesday 23rd February - has been switched to Wednesday 9th March, kick-off 8pm.
Arsenal reached the Carling Cup final by beating Ipswich Town 3-1 on aggregate, winning 3-0 at Emirates Stadium after losing the away leg 1-0.
Birmingham came from even further behind against West Ham. After losing the away leg 2-1, they went a goal down at St Andrew's before hitting back to win 3-1 in extra-time for a 4-3 aggregate success.
