Fulham 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea dominated for long spells but emerged with a draw only after a late Fulham penalty miss at Craven Cottage.

Petr Cech saved an injury-time Clint Dempsey penalty to earn Chelsea a 0-0 draw at Fulham on Monday after Fernando Torres had missed a host of chances to open his account for the Blues.
Struggling Torres was replaced by Didier Drogba after 70 frustrating minutes but in the end Chelsea were happy to escape with a point.
Another Chelsea new boy, David Luiz, was adjudged to have felled Dempsey, but the American saw his spot-kick parried by Cech and then blasted the rebound over the bar.
The point leaves Chelsea 12 points behind leaders Manchester United and two behind Tottenham Hotspur in the final Champions League qualifying spot.
