Late switch for Gudjohnsen

Striker Eidur Gudjohnsen has joined Fulham on loan from Stoke until the end of the season.

The Potters gave the go-ahead for the Iceland international to make the move shortly before the 11pm transfer deadline.
The 32-year-old former Chelsea and Barcelona striker then agreed personal terms with the Cottagers.
He then passed a medical, which was organised locally so that he could complete the paperwork in time.

Fresh Start
Gudjohnsen has struggled to establish himself this season at the Britannia Stadium, making just four Barclays Premier League appearances, all as substitute.
He finished last season with Tottenham Hotspur, scoring once in 11 league appearances and he now hopes for a fresh start at Craven Cottage.
Earlier in the day, Gudjohnsen had looked set to sign for Dutch side Ajax but the move fell through clearing the way for Fulham manager Mark Hughes to make a sudden swoop.
