Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero insists he has not had any thoughts about retiring just yet. The 35-year-old has yet to sign a contract extension with the club, even though his current deal expires this summer. However, the striker is not preparing to hang up his boots in the near future.
"I want to play for a long time and give my best," Del Piero said. "Then I will consider the right time to stop playing.
"I'm just thinking about the present. My thoughts right now are on playing and we will see what happens in the future."

It has been a difficult campaign for Del Piero and his team-mates. The Turin giants are 11 points behind fourth-placed Udinese with nine games remaining in Serie A.
A place in next season's UEFA Champions League looks to be out of reach for Juventus and Del Piero is aware there are things that need addressing.
"The fans' suffering is also ours," Del Piero said. "We lack lucidity and this has been the problem in certain games.
"We have to understand the reasons why this has happened. Our wish and hope is that we will soon see the best Juve."
