Sampdoria president Riccardo Garrone is not planning on making another coaching change despite the team's continued struggles under recently appointed boss Alberto Cavasin.
Samp sacked Domenico Di Carlo earlier this month and installed Garrone, but they are yet to see an upturn as he has presided over defeats to Catania and Parma, results that have dropped the Genoa team to 16th place in Serie A. The club are just three points clear of the drop zone with nine games remaining. "We are continuing with Cavasin until the end of the season, even though the team has not reacted," Garrone said. "I spoke to Cavasin and it was a positive dialogue."
Samp travel to Verona to face Chievo on April 3 looking for a win after five defeats in their last six games. Their last win was against Bologna, 3-1, on 13 February.
