Lyon's title hopes suffered a crushing blow tonight as they were beaten 1-0 by Paris Saint-Germain - a side who could now knock them out of the top three before the season ends.Claude Puel's men went into the clash knowing a win would move them to within three points of leaders Lille and two of second-placed Marseille, who occupy the last automatic qualifying spot for the UEFA Champions League.
But Zoumana Camara's goal 14 minutes from the end earned the hosts a victory that moves them just a point behind Lyon in third, increasing their chances of claiming a Champions League berth themselves.
PSG looked lively from the off and Guillaume Hoarau had an early effort blocked before he saw another strike on goal saved by Gregory Coupet.
The chances continued to come and Mamadou Sakho had an attempt beaten away, before the impressive Hoarau went close again.
Hoarau could not be kept out of the action and he put a free header over the bar, while at the other end Jimmy Briand got Lyon going with a long-range effort.
Christophe Jallet put a header wide for PSG and Kim Kallstrom's effort for Lyon was saved as the game flowed from end to end, with Jallet again nodding over. Bafetimbi Gomis went close for Lyon after the restart and then crashed an effort against the bar as his side pressed.
Nene drove into a crowd of bodies as he looked to get the opener for the home side, before Camara did, getting on the end of a Ludovic Giuly cross to ram home. Giuly then spurned a chance to make it two, but it mattered little as PSG saw the game out.
