Lyon coach Claude Puel is aware last night's 1-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain was an opportunity missed for his side as the Ligue 1 title race nears its conclusion.
Zoumana Camara's goal 14 minutes from time handed PSG the win at the Parc des Princes, which allowed them to close the gap on their third-placed opponents to a single point.
Les Gones remain six points behind leaders Lille with seven matches remaining, and Puel admits things are becoming a little tense at the top of the table.
"There is a lot of frustration for us, especially after our second-half performance," he told L'Equipe's website. "A lot of disappointment too because a draw would have been the most sensible result for both teams.
"At first we struggled to get into the match and didn't know whether to attack or defend. But after the break we did not feel in any danger and it took one chance to score against the run of play.
We missed a great opportunity. It will be a tough fight between all the contenders now.

"Nothing is decided yet [in the league] but we missed a great opportunity. It will be a tough fight between all the contenders now."
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas tried to play down the defeat, saying: "We knew it would be a difficult game and to lose is a big disappointment.
"But let's not get carried away. There are still games left and it's not a catastrophe. We can make up for these points lost in our next away game."
PSG coach Antoine Kombouare was thrilled with the win which kept his side on the heels of the top three and a UEFA Champions League spot. "This result was a huge satisfaction," he said. "There is a lot of pride because this win was well deserved.
"The players put in a great performance and we pocketed three points which allow us to move fourth and closer to Lyon. In addition there was a great rapport with the fans. What could be more delightful?"
