Former France striker David Trezeguet has earmarked Lyon as a desirable destination, after admitting he would like to play in France again after an 11-year absence, as he moves towards the end of his career.
The 33-year-old currently plays for Spanish side Hercules in La Liga following ten years with Juventus in Serie A.
The Rouen-born player has scored 11 goals in 26 matches in Spain this season but has turned his attention to a return to his homeland.

Emotionally, I love Monaco. This is my club. But other teams have more ambition, like Lyon.

He previously spent five years at Monaco between 1995 and 2000. Trezeguet told L'Equipe TV: "Emotionally, I love Monaco. This is my club.
"But other teams have more ambition, like Lyon. This is a club that is ambitious and seeks to win titles. That's what I want to find."
While also describing Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille as "interesting", Trezeguet insists he would be able to come to a financial agreement.
