The Awards will recognise the best overall photographer and individual 'shot' of the season.
Now in their ninth year, the Barclays Photographic Awards are open to all professional photographers who cover the Barclays Premier League, and recognise the importance of photography within the game. They aim to capture the moments of passion, excitement and drama that define the Barclays Premier League season
There are two categories:
• The Barclays Photographer of the Season award will go to the photographer who submits the best portfolio of five pictures that show high technical accomplishment as well as capturing the essence of the 2010/11 Barclays Premier League season. The winner will receive a Barclays Award and £10,000 of photographic equipment.• The Barclays Shot of the Season will be given to the photographer who submits the best single image. The winner will also receive a Barclays Award together with £5,000 of photographic equipment.
