The hosts have clinched the Barclays Premier League title on the back of a staggering record at Old Trafford - dropping only two points all season.
Given that Blackpool could do with a positive result in an attempt to avoid a swift return to the second tier it is not a fixture they would have craved.
History is not on their side either as the last time they achieved a win in that corner of Manchester was in 1962 thanks to a single goal from the South African Peter Hauser.
However Campbell, who took his season's goal tally to 13 in the victory against Bolton Wanderers, is up for the fight and determined to emulate Hauser.
left sweating
He said: "I am sure a few of the lads will be nervous, they are only human. But I have been fairly calm throughout the season, which has stood me in good stead."Hopefully I will be able to nick a goal or two on Sunday and we will be able to do the business as a team. Fingers crossed we can."
Even a win might not be enough to save Blackpool who would be left sweating on other results in one of the tightest survival struggles for years.
However a narrow defeat could see them stay up on goals scored if Birmingham and Wigan Athletic also lose.
Their points total of 39 would have comfortably kept them up every year since 2003 when West Ham United went down on 42 points.
But this time they are one of three sides locked together on the same tally with two more just a point ahead, making it a tense finale to a thrilling campaign.
