Baggies seal Jones deal

West Bromwich Albion have signed Preston North End utility player Billy Jones on a three-year contract.

The 24-year-old had talks with the Baggies on Thursday at their training ground and has put pen to paper after completing a medical.
He was available on a free transfer after his contract with Preston came to an end.
Jones was Preston's player of the year last season and played in several positions because of injury problems at Deepdale.
The former England Under-20 international began his career with Crewe Alexandra before joining Preston on a four year deal in 2007.
Jones is West Brom head coach Roy Hodgson's second signing of the summer after Ipswich Town defender Gareth McAuley.
Hodgson will now continue his attempts to sign Blackpool midfielder David Vaughan who is out of contract with the Tangerines.
