Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has reportedly agreed terms with Barcelona, but a transfer fee for the midfielder is yet to be agreedReports earlier this week claimed the Spanish champions and Champions League winners were preparing to increase their bid for the 24-year-old to £40million as they look to finally sign the Spain international after a two-year pursuit.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Fabregas has agreed personal terms with Barca and will move to the Catalan giants this summer providing they can agree a fee with the Premier League side.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is believed to be willing to let his skipper leave the north London club, but only if the Gunners' valuation is met.
After failing with a £30m bid, Barca are believed to be hopeful of being successful with their improved offer, despite Arsenal reportedly wanting £50m.
Wenger recently claimed he would fight any new bid from Barca and said of the Spaniard: "I expect him to be here [next season], and I will fight very hard to keep him here.
"You have always to fight when you have a player of that quality. You must always fight to keep your players."
But with Fabregas frustrated after seeing Arsenal end yet another season without winning any silverware, it is believed that Wenger would let Fabregas leave the club if he requested a move to Camp Nou.
Last month it was reported that Barca coach Pep Guardiola had already met with Fabregas' family.
