Liverpool reportedly hope to complete the £15million signing of Jordan Henderson from Sunderland by WednesdayThe Merseysiders are keen on making the England international their first big signing of the summer, with Henderson keen on moving to Anfield.
According to the Daily Mirror, both the club and player want a deal to be completed by Wednesday, which is when Henderson jets out to Denmark with the England Under-21 squad for the Under-21 European Championship.
The two clubs are yet to agree a fee but Liverpool are confident of a deal going through after increasing their original £13m bid by £2m.
Sunderland are believed to want £18m for the youngster, who has previously been linked with a move to Premier League champions Manchester United as well as Chelsea.
