Chelsea are reportedly ready to offload Florent Malouda, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool
The Daily Star reports that the 31-year-old will become the first victim of new Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas' clear-out at Stamford Bridge this summer.
The France international has reportedly been told he is surplus to requirements at the club as Villas-Boas looks to overhaul his squad in time for the start of the new Premier League season in August.
Malouda is one of a number of players rumoured to be heading for the exit door at Stamford Bridge this summer and Liverpool have been linked with the former Lyon player for some time.
Reports earlier this month claimed the Merseysiders were preparing an £8million bid for the wide man, who earlier this year was linked with Spanish side Hercules.
AC Milan, Inter Milan and Roma are also said to be interested in Malouda, who has twelve months remaining on his contract.
