Atletico Madrid goalkeeper David de Gea has reiterated that he will not consider his future until after the Under-21 European Championships and has hinted that he may not join Manchester United after all
Reports in Spain last month claimed the 20-year-old had agreed to join the Premier League champions, only for his lawyer to later confirm that a deal had not been signed.
There have been question marks over the deal going ahead for some time, as although the two clubs are believed to have agreed a fee for the highly-rated keeper, De Gea himself is believed to have doubts over a move to England.
The youngster is believed to be settled in Spain and reportedly needed extra time to consider a move to the Premier League as he thought he could be too young to play in a different league.
And speaking to ESPNSoccernet, De Gea has hinted that he may opt not to join the Red Devils.
"Until the Euros are finished and things calm down a bit, I don't know anything," he said of his future.
"I don't know what goalkeepers Alex Ferguson likes. I'm just a normal goalkeeper, a discrete one.
"Being Atletico's goalkeeper is completely different to being United's and I'm not quite sure what he's looking for."
United and Atletico are believed to have agreed a fee of around £16million.
