Palermo coach Delio Rossi has left the club by mutual consent, the Serie A side announced today.
The 50-year-old was fired by president Maurizio Zamparini earlier in the season following a 7-0 home defeat to Udinese, only to be reinstated five weeks later.
Rossi spent two years with Palermo, qualifying them for the UEFA Europa League in both seasons. He also took them to the Coppa Italia final this season, where they lost to Inter Milan.
"Maurizio Zamparini and Delio Rossi met today [Wednesday] and evaluated their respective positions," said a club statement. "Both decided in a consensual manner to end their working relationship."
