Arsenal considering big bid for England left-back

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is indeed considering a move for England and Everton left-back Leighton Baines and will make official enquiries into the players availability this month.
 
Having sold Gael Clichy to Manchester City on Monday, the Gunners are looking for an immediate replacement but Wenger is aware that trying to prise Leighton Baines from Everton and David Moyes will be tough. The board are therefore considering their options with a view to making a big bid for the 26 year old.
Moyes will not want to see one of his very top players leave though and is prepared to stamp a high asking price on him in an effort to ward off any possible suitors, but Arsenal are serious. Should they be serious enough to make a seriously large offer to tempt Everton then Moyes may feel it time to cash in on the quality defender.
