Villa scored a shock home success over Manchester City last weekend and followed that up with victory at Wigan Athletic on Tuesday evening.
The 2-1 victory enabled Villa to climb six points clear of the bottom three.
But Houllier has his feet firmly on the ground ahead of Saturday's home FA Cup tie with Blackburn Rovers and Tuesday's Barclays Premier League meeting with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Physically Fitter

"We have to stay humble and very focused and keep working.
"You can't take anything for granted in this league. Any team can beat any team."
Houllier believes Villa are stronger in all departments of their game after recovering from their recent dismal run of one win in 10 league matches.
He said: "All I know is we are physically fitter, stronger - and mentally stronger as well. The togetherness of the side can be felt."
