Sunderland 2-4 Chelsea

Chelsea recovered from an early set-back to win a six-goal thriller at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland, who won at Stamford Bridge in November, took a fourth-minute lead through full-back Phil Bardsley's second goal of the season, but the visitors were back on terms when Frank Lampard converted a 15th-minute penalty.
Salomon Kalou's calm finish put Chelsea ahead for the first time with 23 minutes gone, but Kieran Richardson drilled a free-kick into the bottom corner four minutes later to peg the Blues back.
John Terry fired home to restore the champions' lead on the hour and Nicolas Anelka made sure of the points in stoppage-time.
