New Eintracht Frankfurt coach Christoph Daum has told his new team the right mental approach will help save them from relegation.
Daum was appointed yesterday on an initial contract until the end of the season following the sacking of Michael Skibbe.
The former Fenerbahce and Cologne coach has been tasked with keeping the club in the Bundesliga. With seven games to go they lie 14th, three points above the bottom three.
The most important thing is to make ourselves safe as quickly as possible.

"The head always plays an important role in football," Daum told a press conference at his official presentation. "When it works properly then it is a third leg and can make the difference."
With 21 points left to play for, Daum wants his side to put any fears of relegation to bed at the earliest opportunity.
"The most important thing is to make ourselves safe as quickly as possible," he said.
