Everton 2-2 Aston Villa

Everton and Aston Villa shared four goals in a thrilling match at Goodison Park.

The Merseysiders grabbed the lead seven minutes before the interval through Leon Osman who broke into the area before beating James Collins and firing home.
Villa got back on level terms two minutes after the break. Stewart Downing was allowed room on the right to cut inside the area and thread the ball through to Darren Bent who lashed the ball into the roof of the net for his fourth goal since joining Villa in January.
Jermaine Beckford thought he had scored when he broke clear and rattled the bar with a fierce shot which bounced down and away.
As Everton rued their misfortune, Friedel punted the ball upfield and Ashley Young released Bent who tapped the ball past the advancing Tim Howard to put Villa in front on 68 minutes.
But Leighton Baines levelled for the home side with a penalty seven minutes from time.
