FC Barcelona v Man Utd - how the two sides could line up tonight at Wembley

Barcelona play Manchester United tonight in the final of the Champions League, with kick-off at Wembley Stadium 23:45 MDV

Ahead of kick-off, the big choice United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has to make is set to be whether Darren Fletcher will be deemed fit enough to start. If not, then Michael Carrick will likely get the nod in central midfield.

Ferguson will likely stick with Antonio Valencia on the right of midfield, meaning Nani could have to settle for a place on the bench.

United will start with a 4-4-2 formation although reports this week have suggested the Red Devils have been experimenting with a 3-4-3 formation should they fall a goal behind, with Valencia then moving forward and becoming a third striker.

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola is without Gabriel Milito and will decide on whether Carles Puyol or Eric Abidal starts at left-back. If Puyol is shifted out from central defence, then Javier Mascherano could be handed a start in midfield.
