Michael Carrick isn't bothered that Barcelona are favourites to win tonight's Champions League final at Wembley and is determined to enjoy every minute
The former Tottenham midfielder played in the 2008 and 2009 finals, winning the first on penalties against Chelsea in Moscow but losing to Barca 2-0 in Rome 12 months later.
Carrick is likely to get the nod in central midfield ahead of Darren Fletcher at Wembley and despite the Spanish champions being favourites, the England international is undeterred.
"It doesn't bother us who is favourite and who isn't," he said. "It's about performing in a one-off game.
"You don't want it to slip away and it's really about who performs on the night.
"I've got a bigger buzz about this one than I did the first one, there's certainly some excitement because this is the Champions League final.
"A Champions League final at Wembley against Barcelona - it doesn't come much bigger than that."
