New deal for Doyle

Birmingham City goalkeeper Colin Doyle has signed a one-year extension option to his contract at St Andrew's.

The 25-year-old Irish stopper has committed his future to the club despite their relegation to the Championship.
Doyle has been with the club for a decade having joined as an Academy scholar in 2001 but  made just one substitute appearance in the Barclays Premier League over the season with Ben Foster the club's number one between the sticks.
The shot-stopper has undertaken loan spells with Millwall, Nottingham Forest and Coventry City during his time at St Andrew's.

Meanwhile, all four of the club's loan signings, Alexander Hleb, Obafemi Martins, David Bentley and Matt Derbyshire have returned to their parent clubs.
Striker Marcus Bent, who spent time on loan with Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this season, has been released following the expiration of his contract.
Manager Alex McLeish has been clearing the decks after the club's two-season stay in the Barclays Premier League was ended with a 2-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur.
