Andre Villas Boas wants to take Falcao with him to Chelsea FC - report

Andre Villas Boas will reportedly look to bring Porto striker Falcao with him to Stamford Bridge if he is installed as Chelsea's new manager

Reports on Tuesday have suggested the 33-year-old is close to being confirmed as Chelsea manager, although Porto have stressed that a deal has not been done.

Villas Boas has a €15million release clause in his contract and although the club deny a deal has been agreed, Porto president Pinta da Costa has admitted he is helpless to stop the highly-rated coach leaving the club following reports that both the Blues and Inter Milan are keen on appointing him .

And according to the Daily Mirror, Villas Boas will look to take Falcao with him to west London if he does succeed Carlo Ancelotti.

Arsenal and Tottenham have both been keen on signing the 25-year-old, who is currently preparing for this summer's Copa America competition in Argentina.

The Columbia international, valued at around €30m, is currently in talks over a new contract with Porto but has admitted that he would like to play in England.

Real Madrid have also shown interest in the striker.
