Arsenal FC target Falcao keen on Premier League move

Arsenal target Falcao has admitted that he would like to play in the Premier League, but believes it would be hard for him to leave Porto this summer

Reports last month suggested both the Gunners and Tottenham had made bids for the £26m-rated striker, while Arsenal were also linked with the 25-year-old during the January transfer window.

The Columbia international, who is currently preparing for this summer's Copa America competition in Argentina, is currently in talks over a new contract with Porto.

But he admits that he would like to play in England.

"I prefer not to read the press but I know I have been linked with Real Madrid and big English clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham," he said.

"In Europe there are big leagues and I am at a moment of my career when I would like to experience it.

"But it would be difficult to leave Porto this summer because the leaders of the club want to support the scheme of the team and reinforce the squad so they can compete in Champions League.
