Liverpool are reportedly lining up an £8million bid for Chelsea winger Florent Malouda
Reds boss Kenny Dalglish has been linked with the 30-year-old for some time following reports earlier this year that the Blues are prepared to sell the midfielder.
Malouda is one of a number of players rumoured to be heading for the exit door at Stamford Bridge this summer as the club prepare for a major overhaul following their failure to win the Premier League or Champions League last season.
According to Caughtoffside.com, Dalglish is ready to lodge an £8m bid for the France international, who earlier this year was linked with Spanish side Hercules.
Malouda has twelve months remaining on his existing deal with Chelsea and is unlikely to be offered a new contract.

But it is believed that rather than lose him for free in a year from now, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is ready to cash in on the former Lyon midfielder should their valuation be met.
Liverpool are also considering moves for Aston Villa winger Stewart Downing and Wigan's Charles N'Zogbia.
