Dimitar Berbatov a £10million target for Paris Saint-Germain - report

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing a £10million bid for Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov

The 30-year-old had last month stated that he was keen to remain with the Premier League champions, despite being unhappy after being left out of the final 18 for United's Champions League final clash with Barcelona.

Former club Tottenham, Bayern Munich and Juventus have all shown interest in the Bulgaria international in recent weeks.

But according to the Daily Star, PSG are preparing a £10m bid, with new coach Leonardo seeing the forward as the perfect fit to be their marquee summer signing.

United are believed to be prepared to sell Berbatov this summer, largely due to the success of Javier Hernandez in his debut season at Old Trafford.

And although Berbatov has stated that he is keen to stay with the Red Devils and help them try and win a 20th league title next year, it may well be that last season's top scorer reluctantly decides to leave should PSG's bid be accepted.
