Juventus FC to make fresh bid for Carlos Tevez - report

Juventus are planning to make a fresh bid to sign Manchester City captain Carlos Tevez

Reports in Italy earlier this month suggested Tevez turned down a whopping £200,000 a WEEK to move to Turin as he was waiting for Real Madrid or Barcelona to make him an offer.

But Jose Mourinho is yet to make a move to sign the Argentina international, while Barcelona are not believed to be considering a bid for the former Manchester United striker.

Inter Milan are still believed to be interested in signing Tevez, but according to the Daily Star, Juve are set to make an improved bid for the City star as they look to strengthen their squad.

Tevez is keen on a move away from Eastlands and recently told an Argentinian radio station that he is seeking a transfer this summer.

Tevez's agent, Kia Joorabchian, said: "I don’t think speculation about Carlos leaving is fair at the moment. I don’t think money is a consideration."

City are believed to be trying to keep Tevez at the club and Joorabchian added: "Maybe it’s a case of his family coming over to him. That’s something he’s trying to sort out.

"I’m sure in the next week he will sort the family issue out. Once he does, he will announce it and everyone will be in a better place."

Juventus are also keen on signing Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero, who has been linked with a move to Chelsea or Real Madrid.
