Liverpool FC target Bojan Krkic could sign for AS Roma - agent

Liverpool target Bojan Krkic could be on his way to Roma, according to his agent

The 20-year-old looks set to be sold by Spanish champions Barcelona this summer, with Arsenal and Udinese also linked with the young forward.

Barca are rumoured to want to use Krkic as part of a deal to sign one of their transfer targets this summer, with Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas and Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez top of their shopping list.

Earlier this week, Bojan said he was "angry" at reportedly being offered to the Serie A side as part of a deal for Sanchez, but according to his agent, the youngster could end up in Italy next year.

However, Zoran Vekic has warned that it is the Catalans who will ultimately decide his future rather than the player himself.

And with Luis Enrique this week being installed as Roma's new manager, Vekic believes the former Spain and Barcelona midfielder could raid his former club to sign Krkic.

"Luis Enrique and Bojan know each other and so he would certainly like to come to Roma," Vekic, a close friend of Enrique's, told Il Corriere dello Sport.

"It would be a perfect marriage, but we have to wait. We have to be careful because the decision is down to Barcelona.

"The player's father would prefer not to speak with anyone. He works for Barcelona and he does not want things to become confused, so he has ordered total silence."

Despite Bojan being unhappy with talk of a move to Udinese, Vekic earlier this week revealed that the two clubs had held talks over a possible deal.

"For the time being there is nothing official," he told asromanews.it.

"I know that Barcelona and Udinese are in talks but I don't know the exact details, if it is money or an exchange."

Bojan had earlier told Rac1: "I feel angry at the situation I am in.

"I will do everything possible to continue playing for Barcelona.

"Nobody told me that I would be just a player to be exchanged. Nobody likes to be a part of that situation, especially not me."
