The 23-year-old has been accused of attacking a student in a bar last month and was charged with malicious wounding.
The Cameroon international has not been arrested and does not have to appear at a court hearing in the country on August 18th.
However, if found guilty, the Arsenal star he could face two years in prison.
The former Bastia player denies any wrongdoing, but Ludovic Achille Mouaha told an initial hearing: "I was with my girlfriend. She went to the bathroom but when she hadn't come back after 15 minutes I went to see if something had happened.
"Two bodyguards blocked my way telling me I couldn't use it because Alex Song was inside.
"He then came out and was visibly angry. I ended up in a drain and afterwards went to hospital."
A representative of Song told the judge: "Some fans asked for his autograph including a young woman.
"The plaintiff later caused a scuffle and Alex's bodyguards reacted. But at no time did Alex lay a hand on the plaintiff."
The prospect of prison comes as the latest blow for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who has already had a summer to forget.
The Frenchman has seen defender Gael Clichy leave the club to join Manchester City, while captain Cesc Fabregas and winger Samir Nasri also look set to leave the Emirates.
Theo Walcott has been linked with a move away from north London with Chelsea believed to be considering a bid for the England international, while reports last weekend suggested Robin van Persie could also seek a move should Fabregas not be replaced with a top name.
