The first El Clasico derby of the 2011-12 La Liga season could be postponed as a result of Barcelona's participation in the Club World Cup in Japan.The first Barcelona-Real Madrid clash of the new season is scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 11th - just four days before the Catalans play in the Club World Cup.
According to Marca, the game could be brought forward by 24 hours should Barcelona agree to go ahead with the fixture that weekend.
The second league Clasico is scheduled for Sunday, April 22nd 2012, although there is a chance that could be moved should it clash with either side reaching the semi-finals of next season's Champions League.
Barcelona will start the defence of their Liga title on August 21st away to Malaga, while Real Madrid start their campaign at home to Athletic Bilbao.
