Man Utd target Edinson Cavani open to Real Madrid CF move

The 24-year-old insists he is happy at the Serie A side despite interest from a number of clubs, including Arsenal and Manchester City, while Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis recently claimed he would only let the Uruguay international leave the club for €100million.

Premier League champions United were believed to be considering a bid for the forward as a possible replacement for Dimitar Berbatov.

But Cavani has revealed that if he was to leave Napoli this summer, it would be to join Real Madrid.

He Goal.com: "We have arranged everything to stay at Napoli. I think that my adventure there will continue.

"However, things could change when Real Madrid come calling. I think that we'd have to reconsider and talk with Napoli about it if something like that happens.

"I am willing to listen to anything they have to offer. However, I'd also be ready to listen to Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis and obey him."

Real Madrid have been linked with a number of forwards in recent weeks, with Santos star Neymar and Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero believed to be high on their list of targets.
