Real Madrid CF v FC Barcelona - Los Blancos happy to move El Clasico clash

Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueno has said he has no problem if December's first El Clasico clash of the season against Barcelona has to be rescheduled.

The La Liga fixtures for the 2011/12 season were released earlier this week and revealed that the two rivals would meet for the first time in the league this season on Sunday, December 11th - just four days before Barca play in the Club World Cup in Japan.

It is possible that the game at the Bernabeu could be brought forward by 24 hours, although that depends on whether the Catalans believe they can play on that date before flying out to Japan.

But Butragueno doesn't see moving the fixture to another date to be an issue and told the club's official website: "December is a long way away and we'll see what happens.

"A rescheduling wouldn't be a problem.

"I do believe that playing the first Clasico of the league at the Bernabeu is something new in recent years.".

The second league Clasico is scheduled for Sunday, April 22nd 2012.
