Gianluigi Buffon has ruled himself out of a move to Arsenal by committing his future to Juventus.
The Italy No1 has been linked with a summer switch to the Gunners and Roma, but has now confirmed his intention to stay with Juve. The 33-year-old said: "I never felt dumped by the club, as I'm sure they would have told me first.
"However, there was a point in the season when I did wonder whether we could continue to work together. But then the recent statements confirmed their faith in me."
However, Buffon admitted he did consider teaming up with his close friend Francesco Totti in the Italian capital.
The keeper added: "I often hear from Totti.
"He is a friend and we talk about a variety of things. It's only normal to discuss certain problems and certain possibilities.
"I did talk to him about possibly leaving, but my choice was and will always be Juventus."
