The agent of Palermo playmaker Javier Pastore has revealed that Chelsea are yet to make contact about a possible transferChelsea are one of a number of clubs believed to be keen on signing the 21-year-old this summer, with Real Madrid and Manchester City linked with the Argentina international in recent weeks, and the likes of Barcelona, Manchester United and Inter Milan also showing interest.
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has hinted that Pastore could be sold this summer, although the club are unwilling to sell their prize asset on the cheap.
Zamparini recently insisted he would only let the highly-rated youngster leave if a club was prepared to bid €60million after he rejected reports of Pastore making a €30m move to AS Roma.
But although a number of clubs are showing interest, Pastore's agent, Marcelo Simonian, has revealed that he has not heard from Chelsea.
He told Calciomercatoweb.it: "It could be Chelsea are possibly interested, but I have not had any official contact with the Blues.
When asked whether Pastore was seeking a move, Simonian added: "We are not looking for anything, Javier is happy at Palermo.
"I can confirm Javier loves Italy, he feels at home. In any case, official offers are for Palermo and we are not aware of any such proposals."
Serie A champions AC Milan were rumoured to have entered talks with Palermo over a potential deal, but vice-president Guglielmo Micciche recently dismissed reports of any talks taking place.
But although Simonian has stated Pastore is happy at the club, a move could still happen, with Zamparini telling Il Corriere dello Sport: "There is a 50 per cent chance that he will remain and I hope that he doesn’t leave.
"It is no mystery that he is liked by Milan, Inter, Juventus, Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona. It’s a siege.
"Only one big club have come to me to make an enquiry for him, the others have contacted his agent.
"Who called me direct? It was one of Milan, Inter and Juventus."
"As far as I am concerned he is not on the market though. He has three years left to run on his deal and I am ready to renew that, but if someone offers me a lot of money."
