Swansea refute Williams bid

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins says Ashley Williams is going nowhere.

Queens Park Rangers were reported to have made a £2.6m bid for the 26-year-old central defender.
But Jenkins has refuted those claims and is determined to keep one of his key players as they look to consolidate their Barclays Premier League status.
"We haven't had any bids for Ashley Williams. We're not selling Ashley Williams," Jenkins said.
"I think we mustn't forget really that there's a lot of speculation about players like Neil Taylor, Ashley or a few others.
"Agents in this day and age do, rightly or wrongly, get things out in the press, maybe a negotiation tactic to get more wages, bigger contracts."
