AC Milan on brink of Scudetto

AC Milan moved a step closer to their first Scudetto since 2004 with a 1-0 win over Bologna at the San Siro.

A goal from Mathieu Flamini in the eighth minute was enough to take Massimiliano Allegri's side eight points clear with three games remaining.
The home side missed several gilt-edged chances to double their lead and almost paid the price in the second half as Bologna improved, but the visitors were unable to equalise and had Francesco Della Rocca sent off eight minutes from time.
Milan now need just one more win to secure their 18th Serie A title.
Udinese slipped up in the race for the European places as they suffered a 5-2 hammering at Fiorentina, their fourth defeat in five league games.
Juan Vargas opened the scoring for Fiorentina after nine minutes before braces from Gaetano D'Agostino and Alessio Cerci sealed a comprehensive win.
Udinese twice pulled themselves back to within a goal through Giampiero Pinzi and Kwadwo Asamoah, but they were well beaten.
Brescia missed a vital opportunity to give themselves hope in the survival fight as Daniele Mannini grabbed a stoppage-time equaliser to snatch a 3-3 draw for Sampdoria.
The visitors led three times, through a Citadin Eder strike and a Andrea Caracciolo double, but Samp hit back on each occasion with goals from Nicola Pozzi, Fernando Tissone and Mannini.

Roma moved within a point of capital rivals Lazio in the race for fourth place after scraping a dramatic 3-2 win away to relegated Bari in this evening's game.
Things looked bad for the Giallorossi when they trailed twice, to Simone Bentivoglio's penalty and Erik Huseklepp's strike, and then had Daniele De Rossi sent off early in the second half.
But Francesco Totti scored his second equaliser from the penalty spot and the dismissal of Kamil Glik levelled the numbers and gave the Roma captain another opportunity from the game's third penalty.
He was unable to capitalise, though, and the visitors were reduced to nine men when Simone Perrotta was sent off in injury time - only for Aleandro Rosi to pop up with a 95th-minute winner and seal the spoils.
