Attacking midfielder Shinji Kagawa is back in training with Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund, 99 days after breaking his foot while representing Japan in the AFC Asian Cup.
The last time the 22-year-old played was in the semi-final against Korea Republic on 25 January, when he broke a metatarsal bone in his foot.
Kagawa has impressed in Germany since joining from Cerezo Osaka last July, scoring eight goals in 17 league games for the recently-crowned Bundesliga kings, and became a favourite with the club's fans.

He ran out with his team-mates in front of 1,000 fans on Wednesday, when the Ruhr Valley squad trained for the first time since beating mid-table Nuremberg 2-0 to win their seventh top-flight title.
With two games left before the season finishes, Dortmund are in no rush to get Kagawa back in league action.
"It's great that he is back on the pitch," said Dortmund's director of sport Michael Zorc. "But fortunately we don't have to take any risks with him and can choose to play him again when he is ready."
Dortmund are at mid-table Werder Bremen on Saturday, with an eight-point lead at the top.
