However, he promised there would also be some major signings as Milan look to improve on a dismal recent record in Europe. Since lifting the UEFA Champions League in 2007, Milan have yet to go beyond the last 16 and didn't even qualify for the 2008/09 edition.
Their last three appearances in the competition since beating Liverpool 2-1 in the 2007 final have seen them eliminated by English opposition, losing four games and drawing two with no victories. They hit rock bottom last season when Manchester United thrashed them 7-2 on aggregate.

And there will be some movement in the summer to redress the balance. "Due to injuries our squad grew to 31 players this year and it needs to return to 25-26," Galliani told reporters. "It was an emergency brought on by the injuries.
"If we do win the league after many years of success for the other team in this city, our transfer dealings will be with the Champions League in mind which more than ever will be our priority."
Barring a dramatic late collapse, Milan are sure to win their 18th Serie A title as they need just one more point to do so from their remaining three games, or for reigning champions Inter Milan to fail to win all three of theirs.
