Lille sign Rodelin

Lille have secured the signing of Nantes striker Ronny Rodelin. The French double winners announced the arrival of the Reunionese forward on a four-year deal on the club's official website.
Rodelin told www.losc.fr: "It's really satisfying for me to come here. It's a feeling of transcending to a new level. I know that it's up to me now to progress even further and put in a lot of effort."
Rodelin scored five goals in 15 appearances for Ligue 2 side Nantes last season, having started his career at Rodez.
When asked about the impending challenge of Champions League football, the 21-year-old said: "I've become accustomed to watching it on television. But today, the possibility to actually play it is on offer. Lille will be engaged on several fronts. I'm looking to take part in as many matches as possible."
Lille won the Ligue 1 title and the Coupe de France to end a 56-year wait for major honours and Rodelin is already buying into the philosophy of coach Rudi Garcia.
"Clinching the double was something exceptional. On the pitch, Lille represent the best of French football. I like his style of play a lot," he added. "I hope I can blend in with this group and carve my own niche in the future of the team."
