Liverpool FC and Man Utd target Hamsik should join AC Milan says agent

AC Milan should sign Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik, according to Italian football agent Silvano Martina

The 23-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs in recent weeks, with Premier League champions Manchester United and Chelsea believed to be keen on the Slovakia international, along with Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Chelsea were reported to have had a £25million bid for the highly-rated player rejected during the January transfer window, while Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi last month ruled out a bid for the €30million-rated player.

But Martina - who is not Hamsik's agent - believes the Rossoneri would be wise to sign in the former Brescia player this summer.

He told Tuttomercatoweb.com: "Milan like Hamsik a lot and they should do everything to sign him."

His comments were recently backed up by Milan defender Gianluca Zambrotta, who has called for the player to move to the San Siro.

However, Milan CEO Adriano Galliani recently echoed Berlusconi's view that Hamsik was not part of the club's plans for next season.
